Steven ten Bruggencate and Joost Dijkshoorn are the founders of MedicMatch.

Joost studied medicine at the University of Utrecht and has a solid background and network in healthcare. Steven has many years of experience at the forefront of international companies with an eye for continuous development and stakeholder management. Together they form the perfect match to fulfill their ambition by contributing to increase the quality of healthcare.

In 2019 they founded MedicMatch by building a bridge between young doctors and health care institutions. Young doctors, of whom the majority is on their way becoming a general practitioner, are matched to health care institution, and are supported by a team of medical specialists to prepare themselves for the next step in their career.

In 2020 they started facilitating the perfect route for foreign health care professionals who want to build a new life in The Netherlands. The team ensures that the entire process is managed the best way possible. Our fellow nurses and health care assistants work in nursing home, home care and hospitals.
